There is an abundance of Central Coast artisans to discover and now a collective of makers and creators are making it even easier for you. Teaming up to create the ‘Meet the Makers” experience, the trail runs from the coast to the hinterland.

Along the trail you can try your hand at a cheese making workshop, or indulge in some multi award-winning hand-crafted cheeses. Book an experience with Little Creek Cheese at the historic Wyong Milk Factory to go behind the scenes with the cheese makers.

An immersive confectionary wonderland, The Chocolate Factory at Gosford is a delight for the sweet tooth! Take in a tour of a chocolate factory or stop in to savour sweet nougat or locally handcrafted chocolates.

What is an artisan trail without a boutique winery visit? Stop by Fires Creek Botanical Winery for award-winning wines crafted from boutique fruit, flower and native botanicals. Enjoy a tipple at the cellar door or book in a workshop such as ‘Meet the winemaker’, or (our favourite) the ‘Chocolate and wine pairing experience’.

Enjoy a uniquely Central Coast experience with NSW’s only pearl farm, harvesting the precious local Akoya pearl at Broken Bay Pearl Farm. Visit the Shellar Door on the Hawkesbury River and book in a tour to cruise with a pearl farmer.

To make the most of your time on the Central Coast, make sure you call ahead to book for tours and workshops. Enjoy meeting the local artisans along the Central Coast Meet the Makers trail.
