Meeting, Exhibition or Event Venue under 500 Delegates

On April 2, we attended the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) National Awards at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Brisbane.

We are thrilled to announce that for the third year running, Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific was crowned the National winner of ‘Meeting Venue of the Year under 500 delegates, earning us a place in the Meeting and Events Australia (MEA) ‘Hall of Fame’.

The MEA Industry Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings & Events Industry. They encourage industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results.

Flying to Brisbane to accept the award, Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific’s Marketing Manager Melinda McCrone said, “contributing factors that helped Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific win this award included a record breaking year bringing over 23,000 delegates to Terrigal,the delivery of exceptional service and the ability of the team to provide a tailored solution to each client”.

The award is judged by a panel of two representatives from the meetings and events industry, as well as an independent consultant from outside the industry.

This continued success, along with the commitment to grow conferencing business, has been recognised by our hotel’s owners with a renovation investment for 2019. Our national award-winning conference and event facilities at the venue will undergo a major refurbishment during June and July.
