Learn to Surf session with Central Coast Surf School

Who’s it for? 2 adults or 2 children

When’s it available? 1pm daily during school holidays (April 7-23, 2023) or Sundays outside school holidays

Get your surfing journey off to the best start possible in a group lesson with Central Coast Surf School’s professionally accredited surf instructors. Lessons are typically held at Avoca Beach, but may change depending on conditions.

A family pass to the Australian Reptile Park

Who’s it for? 2 adults and 2 children

When’s it available? 9am to 5pm daily

The Australian Reptile Park is Australia’s original hands-on zoo – home to over 2,000 animals and located in a natural bush setting. Cuddle up to koalas, kangaroos, quokkas and dingoes or test your bravery and hold a massive python!

An alpaca meet & greet at Iris Lodge Alpacas

Who’s it for? 2 adults and 2 children

When’s it available? During school holidays: 12:30pm daily; 3pm Monday–Friday / Outside school holidays: 12:30pm Friday–Sunday
12:30pm Friday to Sunday and every day during school holidays

During this 45 minute experience you’ll learn about the farm’s alpacas whilst you’re in amongst the herd hand feeding them. A number of the alpacas enjoy cuddles and a neck rub. They are very photogenic so be sure to bring your camera.

Terms and Conditions: Minimum stay for the the Family Getaway package is 2 nights. Rates are per room, per night, for 2 adults and 2 children. Rates may vary according to the dates selected, are subject to availability and blackout dates may apply. Buffet breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children is available only in Seasalt Restaurant. Children eat free Seasalt Restaurant during dinner hours when accompanied by a paying adult. Offer is not valid to groups of 10 or more rooms and cannot be combined with any other special offer. Rates also qualify for IHG Rewards Club Points. The ‘local experience’ must be used during the period of stay at the hotel. Experiences are subject to availability. Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from the experience. Other terms and conditions may apply. 

Learn to Surf session: Lessons may be cancelled if weather is deemed too dangerous, or if the beach is closed by council lifeguards. Guests may be subject to additional terms and conditions of Central Coast Surf School. Guests may be subject to additional Terms and Conditions specified by Central Coast Surf School.

Alpaca Meet & Greet: Enclosed shoes are recommended. In wet weather old/waterproof shoes are recommended. All visitors to the farm are required to step through a disinfectant shoe bath. Under the recommendation of our vets and the DPI, if you have been to Indonesia, including Bali, you cannot participate in this activity for 14 days. Guests may be subject to additional Terms and Conditions specified by Iris Lodge Alpacas.
