We’re incredibly proud to be the major sponsor of the first ever Daffodil Dip on April 8, a fun 400m ‘dip’ in the ocean hosted by Terrigal Life Saving Club. The Daffodil is the symbol of hope, and the Daffodil Dip will see each swimmer or ‘dipper’ wear a vintage yellow daffodil swim cap to create a visual ‘ocean of hope’ across Terrigal Beach, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Cancer Council NSW.
The event costs $35 to enter, however we’ll gladly cover the cost of entry for anyone staying at Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific on April 7 or 8.

About the Daffodil Dip
Terrigal Ocean Swim has established itself for over 20 years as an Easter Saturday swim which takes place at the beautiful Terrigal Beach on the NSW Central Coast. It is an ideal event for open water swimmers of all abilities and ages. The swims include a 2km and 1km and competitors must be at least 10 years of age to take part.
For the first time ever, event organiser Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club is also hosting the Daffodil Dip – a fun 400m ‘dip’ in the ocean for all ages. The Daffodil is the symbol of hope, and the Daffodil Dip will see each swimmer or ‘dipper’ wear a vintage yellow daffodil swim cap to create a visual ‘ocean of hope’ across Terrigal Beach to raise funds and awareness of the impacts of cancer.
To redeem this offer, the stay must fall across either April 7 or April 8. This offer is not available for existing bookings. To take part in this offer, guests must write ‘Daffodil Dip’ into the special requests field when making a booking online, or quote ‘Daffodil Dip’ when speaking to our reservations team. Must be booked through our website or reservations team. On confirmation of bookings, guests will receive an email with a link and promo code, with an invitation to register for the event. Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is unable to process refunds for guests who register without using the promo code. Rooms and event entry is subject to availability.
