We love to watch the whales migrating past Terrigal every winter. We especially love when they come in close and can be viewed right off Terrigal beach or when we climb the Skillion to see them playing off the coast.

Until now, there hasn’t been an easy way to get out amongst all the fin and tail slapping action, which is why we are really excited to introduce Andrew and the team from Terrigal Ocean Tours and tell you all about their new Whale Watch Tour.

Departing from the boat ramp at The Haven, a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, the one-hour Whale Watch Tour will take you out to see whales breaching and tail slapping in a purpose built Ecotour RIB. The boat seats just 10 passengers so you know you are going to get personalised service and the marine biologist on-board each tour is there to share information about these beautiful creatures and answer any questions you may have.

What we also like about these Central Coast Whale Watch Tours is the price. Adults are just $40 per person and children are $25 each. Unfortunately people with limited mobility may not be able to board the vessel and children under 3 are not permitted due to safety regulations.

Whale Watching Tours will run Fridays to Sundays from Friday 3 May until Monday 28 October 2019. They will also run during school holidays and on public holidays.
